1. No Purchase Necessary

NO PURCHASE, PAYMENT, OR DONATION IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase or transaction will not increase your chances of winning. Participation in this promotion is subject to these Official Rules.

2. Sponsor and Administrator

The promotion is sponsored and administered by Dirt Slingin Tech ("Sponsor"), operating the PitSponsor motorsports valuation and human perception research platform.

3. Eligibility

The drawing is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia, and Canada who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees, contractors, directors, and immediate family members of Sponsor are not eligible to participate.

4. Entry Limit & Anti-Sybil Defense

Strict limit of one (1) entry per person, per verified study session, and per IP network address.

  • Email addresses are normalized (e.g. Gmail dot and plus-alias addresses are canonicalized to prevent multiple entries from the same individual).
  • Multiple entries using varying email addresses, VPNs, proxies, automated bots, or fictitious identities are strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification of all associated entries.

5. Psychometric Quality Gate Requirement

To maintain the scientific integrity of the PitSponsor valuation model against automated bots, scripts, or speedrunning spam, entries are valid only from completed study sessions that satisfy four objective quality gates:

  • Attention Verification: Participant must correctly identify at least one (1) of the two 5.00% frame-area suprathreshold control trials.
  • Response Latency: Median reaction time across trials must be ≥ 400 ms (verifying authentic human perceptual interaction).
  • Effort Threshold: Sessions must not mark "I couldn't tell" on more than 28 of 34 trials (≤ 82%).
  • Input Integrity: Repeated uniform key mashing across trials is disqualified.

6. Prize Description

One (1) confirmed winner will receive $100 Visa eGift Card. Prize is non-transferable, with no cash redemption or substitution except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. All applicable federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

7. Provably Fair Drawing Protocol

Selection is conducted using an open, cryptographically verifiable CSPRNG (Cryptographically Secure Pseudo-Random Number Generator) drawing process:

  • All verified eligible entries are ordered deterministically to form a canonical participant roster.
  • A public SHA-256 hash fingerprint of the entire roster is computed and recorded.
  • Winner and alternate selections are generated via HMAC-SHA256 initialized with a high-entropy 256-bit cryptographic seed.
  • An immutable Drawing Audit Certificate is published to /drawing/certificate with masked recipient details, allowing independent mathematical verification of drawing fairness.

8. Winner Notification

The potential winner will be notified by email at the address provided during entry within five (5) business days of the drawing. If a potential winner fails to respond within five (5) business days or is determined ineligible, an alternate drawn in sequence will be contacted.

9. Privacy & Research Use

Perception test data is aggregated and anonymized to calibrate visibility curves for the PitSponsor valuation algorithm. Contact information is retained exclusively for drawing administration and prize fulfillment and is never sold, shared, or used for commercial marketing.
